Fundraising at Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pàirce
Our parent & carer volunteers raise funds to pay for items and activities which boost our children’s wellbeing, education, and sense of community.
Our fundraising has paid for:
- Playground play equipment
- School jumpers for each annual intake of C1
- Initiatives for our Young Carers
- Plants and bird feeders for our playground
- Strips for our sports teams

Who are the volunteers?
Our fundraising volunteers are from a mix of backgrounds, a variety of nationalities, and speak many different languages – from English and Gàidhlig to Italian, Greek, French and Spanish. Everyone is welcome to get involved.
Many parents & carers work full time, have no childcare, or simply don’t have spare time to volunteer in person at school events. These parents lend a hand by selling raffle tickets, donating baking and prizes, or donating digital skills. There are many different ways to be involved and all contributions are valued.
